What's This About?
Be part of the Button Up Video Contest! Capstone Community Action is looking for very short videos that inspire viewers to take action to lower their heating costs and do something positive for the planet.
When people button up their coats, it keeps the cold air out and the warmth in. The same can be done with our homes and other buildings—making them cozier, saving energy dollars, and fighting climate change. When done correctly, weatherization improvements do a great job of keeping the heat where it belongs.
Contestants are invited to highlight some of the ways this waste takes place, illustrate its impact, offer innovative solutions, and motivate viewers to “button up the leaks.” Think about what, where, how, and why you button up.
